So I had an epiphany the other day. I've been working on a hard root beer, and was planning on stabilizing and kegging it because it needs to be sweet. (Dry root beer doesn't sound very good) but I don't have a kegging setup yet. My question is, can I add the sugar, add k-meta and k-sorbate, bottle, wait until its sufficiently carbed, and then put in the fridge to cold crash it? My thought is, the stabilizers take time to work, and won't be completely effective until after the beer is carbed. The stabilizers would then prevent it from over carbing the beer down the road.
