Hi,

I want to wash the WLP007 yeast that is in my carboy right now. This yeast fermented really fast and furious and almost blew over, luckily I only had foil over the neck when it happened. Unfortunately it left caked yeast around the inside of the neck.

How would you deal with this when washing this yeast? Will harm if hard yeast falls into the mason jars, or will it just fall to the bottom and be fine when I move the washed yeast from my 1 gallon pickle jar to the small pint mason jars?

Thanks.
