nOOb hopping question

Is it a big deal if I don't use a hop bag when using pellet hops? I'm out of bags (which I've always used) but don't feel like delaying a batch of amber ale for the brew shop to open next week.

Well, I"ve never used them, and I've made more batches than I can count! I just throw them in, and when I put the wort into the fermenter, I pour through a sanitized strainer.
