Hey, I'm making my first AG beer as I'm currently building my mash tun. Here's a recipe I've put together for a simple IPA. Let me know what you think, feel free to tweak as needed! Thanks!
11lb Rahr Two Row
1/2lb Caramel 10L
1/2lb Caramel 20L
1oz Columbus @60
1.25oz Centennial @20
.5oz Columbus @15
.5oz Cascade @10
.5oz Columbus @5
.5oz Cascade @Flame Out
Wyeast American Ale Starter
As for the Caramel do I seep that during the boil for color or should I mash it with everything else?
I ran this through Brewtarget, and you are within the style guidelines of an American IPA with the exception of the IBUs, which are over a bit. If you cut back on the Centennial to just .5 oz and leave out the Cascade at 15, you fit. I'd maybe bump up the Caramel 20 to two pounds, and leave out the 10.
