Just a photo of a chunk of curly maple I whittled into a handle, and a piece of previously Z-channel stainless that was persuaded into its present form. I joined the two parts with stainless screws. I plan to polish the stainless a bit more.

I made mine out of a piece of figured maple. Only used it once, but worked like a champ.
