I have the opportunity to get enough malolactic culture for 100 litres cheaper than I can get an amount that would do 19 litres (which is how much cider I have going). I will probably get more regardless of whether or not it is possible to store the extra slurry. Nevertheless, I want to know whether there is any information about storing lactic acid bacteria.

Has anyone experimented with this?
