Moosehead . . .

So today when me and some buddies went kayaking we bought some moosehead to drink on the excursion. It tasted great, crisp and refreshing. Enough, at least, to get me to google the clone recipe. . .

3 lbs. American 2-row info
.75 lbs. Belgian Cara-Pils info
2 lbs. Dry Extra Light Extract info
1 lbs. Corn Flaked info
.5 oz. Tettnanger (Whole, 4.5 %AA) boiled 60 min. info
.25 oz. Tettnanger (Whole, 4.5 %AA) boiled 30 min. info
.25 oz. Hallertau (Whole, 4.5 %AA) boiled 30 min. info
Yeast : Wyeast 2035 info

Does Moosehead really use DME in their mass produced beer???

I used talk $hit about Canada all the time until I traveled around Calgary and Niagara. The people are very nice and the country is beautiful. Canada rules!

I would still like to point out that some of Fosters is brewed in Canada.

I doubt it- you've got a partial mash recipe. I bet it was created by someone who wasn't an AG brewer.

I don't know if the recipe is a good one or not- it's been a long time since I've tried Moosehead!

You got me thinking of Moose Drool by big sky brewing, last time I was out there, that was a fantastic beer.
