So was getting supplies and saw some breise porter lme for cheap on sale. Picked up a couple 3.3lb. So what would be something good and simple to make with them. I have about a half pound of roasted barely. Also have cascade, sterling, and centennial hops avail. And some old mt. Hood hops.

So this is what I'm thinking.

6.6 porter lme
.5lb roasted barely
1Oz centennial fwh

Then boil it for 60 and toss it on a us-05 yeast cake from a pale ale I am going to bottle soon

Brewed it last night. Calling it ressesion porter. 14 bucks invested in the batch

Debating if I'm going to ad some cold steeped coffee extract when I bottle. Its about 26 I bus now with an og of 1.051. You think it may make it too bitter?

Depends on your FG. If it's around 1.015 or so it should be sweet enough to balance out the coffee bitterness. It also dwpends on the roast of the coffee as well.
