AHS Festbier

I will be in Austin for the 4th and thought I'd swing by AHS and pick up this kit. Has anyone made it before? I figured I would make it now and since my experience with lagers go, it typically takes a bit longer - and hopefully by Sep/Oct it will be dialed. I made an octoberfest kit from Brewer's Best last year and I was not very impressed with the initial batch. I did happen to find one in my fridge about 6 months later and it was excellent. Although it isnt march, I figure these "marzen" style beers need a little time to age (thus them being marzen beers served in the late summer/early fall).

I was just curious if anyone has made it and what you thought. Thanks in advance.

Well, looks like I will be the first. I will write a review in a few months when I taste it I suppose.
