Do you drink mead chilled?

I know you drink some wines chilled, some not. is this a personal preference type of thing or is it preferred generally one way over another?

What is the "proper" way for mead? Seems to me slightly chilled would be nice.
 
I've always had mead at room temperature or slightly lower (cellar temp), but never chilled.
 
^^ditto. but it would depend on if it was sweet or dry. sweeter meads are a bit nicer slightly chilled IMO. dry meads I like at room/celler temp.
 
The meads that are dry enough to be chardonnay-like would probably taste best chilled. I personally love a honey aroma, room temp or cellar temps would be best for me.
