I adjusted the recipe...originally only called for 1oz fuggles...had some nugget lying around. Hoping for something closer to Brooklyn Brown, less like Newcastle. I steeped the grains for 25 mins at 150-155. Also, experimenting with the molasses...some homemade stuff from backhome, made from sugarcane.

0.25 lbs Chocolate Malt
1.00 lbs Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L
0.50 lbs Cara-Pils/Dextrine
0.50 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US
5.50 lbs Amber Liquid Extract
8.00 ozs Corn Sugar (Dextrose)
.75 cups Molasses (at 15 mins)

1.00 ozs Nugget 60 mins
0.50 ozs Fuggles 30 mins
0.50 ozs Fuggles 15 mins

1.0 pkg US-05

1.00 tbsp Irish Moss 30 mins Boil

Everything sounds pretty good up until the molasses part. I did some quick research and a lot of people commenting on it says that once it ferments it has adds a weird taste to the beer. I've personally never had it in my beer; I don't think I will make a batch of it as an experimental brew unless I get some smaller fermenters.
Also, you can probably just boil the Irish Moss for five or ten minutes.

Recipe sounds good, though.

Yea, from what i read, a little molasses goes a long way. Tis why i opted for the smaller amount. Thanks for the feedback.
