Took me 2 years to figure this out

Not sure why I didn't think of doing this before. I cut a hole in the bottom of the boxes my carboys came in & use them to block out the light.



Looks much nicer than this. (same fermenters)

I didn't even cut a hole, I just use the four pieces that make up the lid to hold it higher.

Whats even more surprising than not THINKING about doing this before is not seeing the dozen of pictures on HERE of others doing it

I'm not sure I've come across those. I would have remembered.

I see 5 carboys holding brew. Whats in the smaller ones? Mead?

I agree, looks much nicer then the brown boxes.

I think you are going in the other direction.

I've hung beer t shirts over mine for years......they look cool with different brewery and brewpub shirts on them...

Yep, you are right. I looked at the photos thinking they were before and after. But anyways I like the beer shirts.. But Im sure the boxes might work out better.

I have. It was a couple years ago, but I did see them. And no, I don't feel like searching for them.:cross:

But it's still good thinking on your part anyway!
