New Brewer in Syracuse, NY

I just wanted to say hi to everybody. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks. I joined this site when I was thinking about home brewing as a new hobby. Now, my first brew has one week in the primary. This site has helped me out a lot already, and I am sure it will be a great reference as I get more advanced.

Thanks to all that put the time in to record your experiences here and answer people's questions.

This all makes me miss being back in Syracuse - down here in 'bama, you can't just lager in the garage (or cool your wort by putting the kettle in the snow bank).
