Hello all,
I just brewed my first batch of a dry and off dry wine. Chardonnay and Angel Blanco. I bottled last night and tasted them. They both taste bad to me, it kind of reminds me of rocket fuel, haha, It just had a strong alcohol taste. I followed the instructions (both were kits) to a T. Will the taste get better with ageing? What should I age it for? 6 months?

Thanks
Julie

Emtjewel,

How long was this in the carboy? Ferm temps? 6 months to 1.5 years might do it.
