Hi all,
I'm looking for a recipe for a good autumn seasonal beer. My favorite is the Sam Adams Oktoberfest, but I can't lager so that's out of the question. Any suggestions? It would need to be extract or partial mash since I can't do all grain quite yet.

Thanks for the help.

Check out Ed Worts recipes. He has an Octoberfest Ale and there seems to be universal praise for his work.

BierMuncher also has an "Octoberfast" ale, which I might try this fall. Like you, I love those beers but can't quite lager yet.

As for right now, I'm getting ready to brew a Scottish ale that will be really nice to have around when the weather starts to cool off.

I also think that a good ESB is great for fall.

+1 for an Oktoberfest ale, I'll be brewing one up when the time comes :D

Also, BROWN ALE! I *LOVE* brown ales........
