Just used White Labs London Ale (WLP013) strain to brew a fairly simple IPA recipe. Has anyone else who has used this yeast noticed the krausen and flocculation of the yeast on the top of the brew is much thicker, darker and dense than other strains? Is this normal for this strain? Are there other strains that behave similarly?

I just made a starter today with that yeast. It took quite a lot of shaking in the vial to break up the clump it had formed. I'll let you know what happens with mine when I brew with it tommorow or Thursday!
