my sister is coming to the islands in 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone has a quick brew that wil be ready before she leaves(she will be here for one week).plus this will be the first time using my kegs.:rockin:

A Belgian Wit is a fast beer. 4 days primary, 4 days secondary, chill and force carb.

No conditioning necessary for a wit and fresh is better.

Extract or All Grain?

A hefe can be ready in 10 days or so.

3lbs Briess Weizen DME (Start of 60 min boil)
1 4lb can Alexanders Wheat LME (End of boil)

1 oz hops in the 4% range more or less (60 min boil)

WLP300 yeast.

We made something like this recently and were joking about brewing a batch 7 days before a party and just letting people pour out of the bottling bucket. That said, the carbonation did make it even better. It was halfway as carbed as it got in 36 hours after bottling. 7 days in primary and 7 days in bottles should be more than enough.

:ban: yeah i do extract for the time being, but will soon do all grain. thanks guys.
