So I finished a tripel however I missed my OG. It needs to be about 1.08 however I was at 1.073... Well mixed, no trouble with the hydrometer, I simply goofed somewhere in the candi sugar department. Could this corrected by adding a portion of boiled then cooled dextrose to the fermentor? (I amsuimg it would be ok since this is similar to bottling techniques.)
Ideas?
