doing my first pumpkin beer, if i start friday im thinking it should definitely be ready by then. its just about 8 weeks away, im thinking 3 weeks in the fermenter, and 5 in bottles. what do u guys think?
 
That's a fairly safe schedule assuming an ale
 
No problem. I had one of my pumpkin beers grain to glass in 3 weeks...2 weeks primary, 1 week bottle condition. Tasted great.

Take care of your yeast (good aeration, proper pitch rate, controlled temps) and long aging is not required.
