So I just spent $10 on a garden hose, and converted my immersion coil into a counterflow chiller. Now I can whirlpool the hot wort, and syphon it through the CF to get rid of the hot break. But the cold break will congeal in my fermenter. Do I care? Or should I wait and transfer it again, leaving the cold break behind?
PS, I do have a bucket and 3 carboys, vessels are not a prob. And, I use pellets in a nylon paint sack.
PPS, I may play hooky tomorrow and brew a new batch to pitch onto todays cake. cough-cough, I feel a cold coming on, cough-cough
Any recomendations? No, Nyquil is not a viable option.
