So the water is heating to start steeping the grains for my first brew. In the meantime I am cleaning and sanitizing the primary, airlock, etc. The Brewers Best kit came with a no rinse cleanser, and I bought some Starsan today at my LHBS.

I boiled up a couple of gallons of water to use for cleaning/sanitizing. Once everything is cleaned with the cleanser, I plan on spraying with Starsan diluted 128:1.

So the question is, does the Starsan have to be rinsed afterwards?

Thanks,

Mike

Star San is no-rinse. Don't worry if there is foam or bubbles, its still no rinse.

I tried it yesterday, and it's nice, but caustic. Just be careful what you spray it on, or near. I found my granite coutnertops had a nice white residue on them that had to be scrubbed off, because the mist hit it.
