I used 2.5 oz of Simcoe whole leaf Hops at 0 minutes.

My question is,

Do I want to include the whole leaf hops when I transfer the wort to the fermenter? or should I filter the leafs out?

Will it effect the aroma contriubtion if the whole leaf hops are not included?

I would get them out. The longer they sit in your fermenter the higher the chance they could contribute grassy flavors in the final beer. If you want additional aroma, dry hop towards the end of fermentation (like 7-14 days)

You want them to steep for at least 20 minutes between 170 and 180F, then begin your cooling of the wort, you'd definitely leave them behind in the boil kettle, it's pretty easy to do thanks to them being whole hops instead of pellets.
