So the hurricane is a comin'. Any suggestions for what beers to stock up on. I am thinking I need some that I can stick in the basement to cool down some since we may lose power. My basement is currently in the id 60s. I could always get a cooler and ice, but once that starts melting what's the point.

Any ideas?

Well you could always go with some nice stouts... something that you can drink at room temp and actually enjoy. A bit heavy for the time of the year but hey, it's a hurricane! (I consider that a valid excuse for nearly any action)

I find most Belgian beers can taste quite nice in the 60's. Not to mention they are basically a meal in a bottle.
