I tend to keep WLP001 WLP007 and WLP380 for wheat beers. Other strains I don't usually use often enough to make reusing practicable. How about you? How many strains are sitting in the back of your fridge right now? What kinds?

I use WLP 002 WLP 001, and then some private reserve strains from wyeast that I wash and keep around until the next year's come out.

I tend to find uses for what I have on hand. Currently I have WLP400, WLP500, WLP810 and US-05. I can make a lot of great styles of beers with these yeasts, from PA's, IPA's, ESB's, Marzens/Lagers, Wits, Wheat beers, numerous belgian styles as well as some hybrid stuff.

I have yet to use an english ale yeast but probably will for some future beers. I'm lazy and cheap though and I have a ton of mason jars of cakes already!
