I'm going to be having a big party for Octoberfest. Is it okay to cook the food in my stainless kettles assuming I clean them well? That would be cool. Cooking goulash, spatzel and soakin brats in beer. Thanks.
 
I see no logical reason not to, though I wouldn't be surprised to see some responses shaming you for even thinking of such a thing.

Think about it...has your beef stew ever tasted like the spaghetti sauce that was cooked in the same pot previously?

Just clean well, I say no worries.
 
Yep, safe. I use my brew pots for all kinds of things. We make lots of stuff in bulk and can it for use throughout the year and anything that needs to be simmered for a while goes in the stainless brew pots.
