Building Thermowells

My project is almost finished, I got my pots welded up and now all thats left are a few minor details.

I found some stainless tubing that works with the Love controllers probes but they don't make compression fittings that size so I had to fabricate my own.

Here are the parts I bought...


I drilled out the fittings and the caps for the thermowells to go through.


Next, some aluminum foil plugs so the JB weld stays put...


and then I filled the ends about 3/8" deep...

Did you use 3/8" X.035 wall stainless tubing for the wells, if so would you want some SS swagelok bore through fittings for 3/8" tubing.
