So my first brew has finished fermentation and is begining to clear on its own. It has been in the carboy for almost 2 weeks. My intentions are to bottle next weekend. My question to you is when should I begin cold crashing ? For how long and at what temp? I was thinking 40 degrees. I have a fermentation chamber .

When I cold crash, I just stick in my spare fridge for 24-72 hours. 40 should be fine and if it's already clearing then 24 hours should be sufficient, but I think it's all pretty much a preferrence thing.
