Well, I passed the new BJCP online exam a couple of Sundays ago. I found it was pretty difficult due to the time constraints, but I managed to pass. Anyway...I have my tasting exam portion this Saturday. Any tips from anyone who has taken the tasting portion, besides the obvious memorize every style guideline?

Can't speak to the actual tasting exam because I haven't taken it (yet). But have you practiced filling out scoresheets? I've been taking a BJCP prep course given by a couple local judges for the past couple months (one night a week). Each class we fill out probably 8 or more scoresheets. It really helps to know your way around a scoresheet and understand what belongs on there, how to organize your thoughts, and to develop your own process for filling them out and scoring.
