Did he say 28 pounds of Simcoe? Holy crap! I could make a killer IPA with that! :cross:
So.. it's just a coincidnece that you now use the same hops as anchor in all your brews, and that you have been doing the tour a lot with a large backpack?

IIRC Stone has a 120 barrel brewhouse.

I haven't tried simcoe. But with a 11% alpha and 17% (very low) cohumulone % that would be an excellent bittering hop for any style!
I could imagine the post on here:
"Yeah, my beer has a funny off flavor, can you help?!? Maybe it's because of the plastic bag that dropped into the boiling wort when I dumped in the 28 pounds of hops?"
Yeah, did you catch that. The Brewer said "The trick is not to drop the bag in with the hops, Mylar melts". LOL!
