I am making apple graff tomorrow. I have some washed yeast that I am going to use and need to make a starter. I figured I would make my beer portion of the graff tomorrow, pitch my washed yeast, let it going and then add the apple juice. Kind of use the beer protion as my starter. HOWEVER that means I have to wait until friday or saturday to put it all together.. What if I pitched my yeast into a half gallon of the apple juice tonight, use THAT as a starter then make the beer portion tomorrow and put everything together tomorrow night. Use the APPLE JUICE as a starter?

My logic was that you're basically making apfelwein tonight (no starter needed for apfelwein) and adding it to a more complex thing tomorrow that has malt stuff and stuff :drunk: :D....
