First and foremost, I soaked my bottles in starsan, then when I bottled I just pulled them from the solution, dumped them, and bottled on top of the foam. Anyone see any problems with that?

The other question I have is this:

Is this normal? I'm assuming it's just trub, but I've never done this before, so I don't know what I'm looking for. Thanks!:ban:

Not a problem with bottling on top of the foam and that looks to be both trub and the yeast cake.

sounds and looks good. I am assuming that is your primary bucket (looks normal, trub and yeast) and you transferred into a bottling bucket to add priming sugar.

Now come the hard part...waiting for it to carb up.

congrats on your first batch!
