BYO has a nice Blonde Ale recipe from the Jan issue. I brewed it with lager yeast, and it is great. I am sure if you used a neutral ale yeast like Wyeast 1056 it would be close to what you are looking for. Kolsch yeast will give it a more German profile.
10 lbs 2-row
.5 lbs crystal 15L (I couldn't find crystal 15L, so I used 1/2 10L and 1/2 20L)
Willamette Hops 5% 1 oz @ 60 min.
Mash at 154 for 60 min.
These are pretty simple recipes...the yeast you choose will really determine the character.
