I'm officially podcasting now

I certainly don't consider myself an authority on homebrewing. I'm just motivated enough to run my DV cam whenever I do something brewing related to hopefully give other brewers some tips and insights. Of course, I'll keep uploading videos to http://www.youtube.com/bobbyfromnj but I signed up for a vlog at http://bobbym.podbean.com and it creates a nice little podcast RSS feed for me. I'm still plagued by file size constraints similar to youtube, but at least people with Ipods can subscribe and get them mobile.

If you want to just subscribe via iTunes, just go to "advanced", subscribe to podcast and paste this in there:

http://bobbym.podbean.com/feed/

Haha, yeah, not so fast. This "free" podcasting site has all sorts of limits and it's not quite working properly yet. I noticed the Mp4 I posted doesn't have any sound. Maybe it was my conversion.. I'll post a couple more as a test.

I never saw it on youtube.. so I thought there was no sound... heheheee... I'll check out the new ones and see how the sound goes... I'll PM you and talk to you about the mp4 conversion program...

It's definitely working, I must have screwed up the conversion on the all grain one. I can also throw the MP4 files up on my webserver for download in the meantime... will update shortly.

If you have any problems with site you're using, let me know. Making an rss feed is actually really easy (I do a weekly audio podcast and edit the feed by hand), so don't settle for anything negative. I'd be happy to help.

I've only been brewing for a short time now. And really if it wasnt for bobbys videos Id be lost..It was the first source of INFO i found.... His videos really got me going.
