Ok guys, tell me it's going to be okay

I've done the unthinkable. In an impatient moment (two actually) I have opened a bottle of my beer that's been in the bottles since Monday, and it was horrible. It has an anesthesia taste to it. I wouldn't be worried, but this is my second batch, and I did the same with my first (trying a bottle three days after it had been in the bottles) and it was great. Please just tell me that I need to leave my beer alone, and that my porter will turn out just fine!

How many days has it's been since you pitched the yeast in? If it's less than 2 months, i'd expect a Porter to taste pretty bad.

Yeah, it's been less than two months, I guess I have ways to go then
