I've been reading through the threads and stickies, seen lot's of info on beer line length, but I have two different materials. How does the formula change?

Purchased a used Perlick 3-head tower that has 1/4" stainless steel lines in it. I really hate to gut it, it's insulated great. Has two copper lines in it for glycol I suppose, was going to use them to force air from the keezer into the head, help keep it cold.

Obviously I can't use SS to the kornys, was going to use 1/4 vinyl (fits perfect onto the SS lines) or maybe 3/16". I believe the formuala for beer length is:

Length = (Keg Pres - Tap Press - (Height/2))/Resistance.

I've rearranged the formula since I have a fixed length on the SS:

Keg Press=Length*Resistance + Tap Press + (height/2)

Now I have to add my vinyl in and play with the length to get the correct pressure. SO, would the formula be:

Keg Press=(Length*Ressistance) + (Length*Resistance) + Tap Press + (height/2)

I would add the two different line lengths together?

sorry for the long post.
