I mentioned in another post about fermenting when the temperature in the Western suburbs of Sydney goes over 40+ but last night it hit a record low of 0. One thing, I can put a tap on one of my Lagers first thing in the morning.

Would'ent you know it it reached 18 by 2pm and I sunbaked. We have crazy weather. Sea water temperature down to a chilly 20 deg. I like it a tad warmer.

But I have started a Bitter albeit with my trusty tropical heater in the brew, it is happily bubbling away. I do have a blanket over it.

Ahh! glorious beer what would we do without it, more to the point what would I do. I reckon I could get a brew working on Mt Everest, I probably would have to administer mouth to mouth to drive up the oxygen a bit. Getting the equipment there.... just details.
