cheapest Co2 regulator and tank will these work?

Get a pressure regulator for CO2 that's setup to work with beer systems. Mainly one that's for pressure, not flow, rates and has gauges that work in the range WE use/need. IMO, trying to go cheap on a regulator is foolish. As for the CO2 tank, if it's aluminum, and with a really recent hydro date, grab it. If it's steel and/or has a date more than a year out, pass.
 
If you're interested in saving money here's a 20lb reconditioned SS tank with a fresh cert for $62.

The reg posted in the second thread looks pretty good, if the shut off valve is also a check valve it would be a great purchase. If it doesn't have the check valve try out this but it's more expensive. I thnk prices on everything has gone up during the holidays. I was going to buy a 11 gallon SS pot from amazon a few weeks ago, checked on it today and the price went up 10 bucks. Anyway here is a great regulator from Kegconnection even if the price has gone up. Taprite regulator
