May sound obvious. But I just transferred over to another carboy to let clear before bottling weekend, and 3lbs of raspberries in a stout (even a 7% stout) gives it a lot of raspberry flavor. Definitely the dominant taste. Not bad tasting, but very forward.

In case anyone is considering, as I should have: "How much raspberry will give me a nice raspberry backdrop?" The answer is less than 3lbs of frozen raspberries.

Carry on everyone!

Let it sit for about a year, and you'll be amazed. I make a raspberry stout regularly and it mellows a lot after about 9-12 months in the bottle. Just a slight hint of raspberry.
