Started starter a week ago (got busy)

Last tuesday i started my starter batch, with the intention of brewing on Thursday, well things got busy and I didn't get a chance to brew then and completely forgot about the starter in the closet.

Would that one still be viable or am I better off just dumping and starting a new one?

Maybe add some more DME?

I dunno, figured I'd ask.
 
It's fine. If you don't plan to brew for another four days or so, you could restep the starter by pitching a bit more sanitary wort. Otherwise, you can decant and use it as is.
