Got a True Brew equipment kit and a 5 gallon batch of their Nut Brown Ale is now fermenting in our basement. everything seemed to go good. Anyone have any experience with their extract kits? Any suggestions for a noob friendly dark stout?

We have a Maestro kit. Only thing I disliked about it was the adhesive thermometer and the C-Brite.

A secondary fermenter (a glass carboy or PET-plastic Better Bottle) would be another good addition to the kit.
