I am using my stir plate for the first time with some Kolsch yeast. The package was from August so it took a little while to get going, but the krausen for once doesn't look like some kind of mutant abomination. Is this typical for Kolsch yeast? After a fermentation with S-05 this looks like a creamy foamy white head on the wort.
