Raspberry, Ginger and Agave:

1# cheapo clover honey
16 oz amber agave nectar
12oz fresh raspberries
4 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1 tea bags worth hibiscus tea
1/2 tsp yeast nutrient
1/2 tsp yeast hulls
1 packet red star quick rise

OG 1.080
FG .992 after only 8 days.

I then cleared it with some sparkaloid and filtered out any remaining chunks. Took a taste and it was surprisingly clean. A decent raspberry bite, obviously dry (may actually add some agave to it) and the ginger was there enough though I will probably add double that next time I try it. Also just a little bit of bitterness so i'm gonna let it sit for a couple of weeks and try it again.

This is one of my first few tries at making mead. So considering the ingredients and the fact that it came out tasting good after so little time I figured that it was worth sharing.

Interesting. Please post an update when you try it again. How long did you age it for already, only the 8 days of fermentation?
