We are Ed & Thomas Selby - a father/son brew team in Ball Ground, GA

Thomas has wanted to try his hand at home brewing for some time, and life/economic events resulted in his moving back home with me. I decided that home brewing might help him keep his chin up and feel like he was doing something fun.

Our first batch goes to the bottle this weekend, and our second batch will be ready for its second fermentation soon after.

First brew was a brown ale kit:

We probably made some errors in tossing the yeast, but we won't know until after bottling.

The second batch is an Irish Red ale with actual grains. We started that on Monday afternoon and it is still happily fermenting today (Thursday). And it smells better, too!
