I really liked it!

It's like a mellow Bigfoot in a lot of ways. Mellow malt, balanced hops.

Anyone else try it?

Yeah, glad they started bottling it, been having it whenever on tap at the Fishbowl. It was their 10th anniversary beer. I think of it more as a winter warmer than a true Barleywine, but it's got the goods to be called a BW.

It's been available in bottles for a long time, just not distributed in the Olympia-Shelton area, which I always found to be weird. Same with their Monkfish.

They bust out the Leviathan Barleywine every once in a while as well, the barrel-aged version was once considered one of the best barleywines in the world, but that was many brewmasters ago.

I think the Reel Ale series of bottles are a good idea for Fish Brewing. The Starfish, 10^2, and Monkfish are all great. I'm definitely looking forward to trying the Swordfish Cascadian Dark Ale soon.
