I'm thinking about buying a CO2 system.

Can you make soda syrups from extracts (Gnome, rainbow, etc.) for mixing with carbonated water?

With syrups like this, how long do they last without going bad? Do you refrigerate them or not?

Thanks, Doug

Yes, just mix the extract, sugar and boiling water to make a gallon of syrup. Mix that 1:3 with soda water (for extracts that make 4 gallons. 1:4 for five gallons.).

They have to be refrigerated and will last for months.
