New to the home brewing scene, Just put my first batch in the primary (Irish red ale). Did alot of reading and looking foward to using you guys for lots of information. oh yeah, I never thought fermenting beer would smell so good!

OP, for future reference, there is a group Syracuse grain and hops buy that we do every fer months. Big discounts on grain/hops/DME/Star San and many other things. We just finished round 8 and round 9 will probably start in the spring. I think there are a few Watertown area people that are in it.
