It's super confusing as to what each field corresponds to since there seem to be three different standards of measurement.

Here is an example:

and

Then I need to enter it into here:

I need to know what fields correspond to what. Please forgive me if you consider this noob stuff. We all gotta start somewhere.

THANKS! :ban::ban::ban::mug::mug::mug:

Unless you have the actual numbers for the grain you have from the maltster that processed it, I wouldn't worry about it and use the default values and just keep track of how much you have and how much you paid. The actual values can vary quite a bit from one company to another.

The British Institute of Brewing (IOB) and the European Brewing Convention (EBC) use different methods for quantifying the color of beer and malt. ASBC is the Ameican standard.
To find the potential and yield you can refer to malt chart like this one -> https://www.homebrewtalk.com/wiki/index.php/Malts_Chart

Does Beersmith use the ASBC numbers?

Okay, did you look at the links I posted? Is that not the same information?

Beersmith can use both EBC and the SRM scale for color depending on how your option is set. SRM by default I believe.
