SWMBO is off to a bridal shower so I'm sitting here in the garage brewing up the last of my leftovers. Yesterday I picked up the yeast and candi to go with the rest. I don't even know what style it would be called besides - Solo In The Garage Belgian Mish-Mash. :ban:

3.3 lbs Amber DME
3.3 lbs Light DME
1 lb Cara Red - steep
2oz Victory - steep
1lb Dark candi sugar
.82oz Hall 6% @ 60
.75oz Hall 6% @ 10

Safbrew T-58 belgian yeast

Not really sure what to expect other than an excuse to sit in the garage with the company of my dog and drink a Nocturnum. :D

Must be nice to be in Florida where it is warm. Been too cold around here to want to sit out in the garage for any length of time! Man, I can't wait until spring to actually brew some beer and not be thinking about how cold I am!:tank:

The temp was around 45...not too bad with the garage door down. I always feel like I need to brew when it is cool because it is easier for me to maintain ambient temps on my primary.

No bubbles yet but I'm sitting on positive pressure. OG was lower than expected at 1.062. Then I realized I forgot to stir after top off so I may be slightly higher.

Finally! A nice day here in Chicago! I thought winter would never end. Brewing after work! Gotta love it. Batch number #12 for this year.
