Feel free to comment.... Really just a post to evaluate process more than anything....

Brewed a Kern River Citra DIPA clone.... Gave it 3 wks fermentation and bottled. Tried a bottle 2 weeks after bottling to determine whether to take some on vacation. It was delicious/amazing so I decided to take some. Tried another bottle at about 2.5 weeks and again delicious. Drove 1000 miles with 10 beers (in car AC set to 72) AND...... all that hop goodness is gone and taste is off..... I think technical term is oxidation..... but surprised how quick this happened. if I didn't try one early I would think I messed up my batch.

Processwise I think I am going to 2 week fermentation (yeah I will take a hydrometer reading), 2 week carb and then all beers in fridge from here on out....
