I made a double IPA a month ago-I was short about 2 lbs. of light malt. I have a really strong hoppy crappy beer.:(

I could A) Get my friends half drunk on the good stuff and feed them this.
B) Use it for Brats.
C) Hopefully my HBT brewmeisters can give me some ideas.:mug:

that brats idea is not hafe bad if you do make brats now and then :)

i want to just need to get the skin for my meat grinder

Post the recipe. It may be salvageable. Hop bitterness and aroma mellow with age. Or brew another batch and use it for blending.

Not a bad idea using it for blending. I could make a half batch of IPA and use this to hop it up. You have given me some great ideas !!

Worst case I suppose you could, very carefully, try back sweetening to balance the hops. I'd try with dextrose first and then experiment with other sugars until I found one I liked that complimented the beer without destroying the body.

Just a thought.
